Sittie's Ghouraybi is a coveted tradition and I just bet, will quickly become one of the favorite treats in your home!

My "Sittie," which means Grandmother in Arabic (and there are many variations on that spelling by the way), meticulously carried generations of delicious family recipes and taught them to her daughter, my mom.  Now they are being handed down to me and my daughter!  This one in particular, is one we begged to learn, as it has become one of the absolute favorites in the dessert category, with my family.  These cookies literally melt in your mouth!  They are a simple combination of delectable ingredients, but go very quickly in most Mediterranean homes. They are wonderful to serve to guests and pair just perfectly with a lovely cup of coffee!
